In my village, a group of women (staff and spouses of staff members) meet to visit sick members of hospital staff, to welcome families into the neighborhood and to say good-bye to members who are moving to another hospital. This is one of my favorite memories at Dwambazi. Ama Chimbutu is the woman in the green, dancing and shaking it the loudest. We went to a house to say good-bye to a family with gifts and money and broke out into spontaneous dance party. It was a beautiful moment - so full of genuine care and love and fun.
